PRODUCTION: The Chosen, Season 6 - Utah Unit

BACKGROUND CASTING DIRECTOR: Ben Cummins
APPLICATION DEADLINE: As soon as possible - Applications will remain open through the run of the shoot.
SEEKING: Individuals ages 8-65. We seek a broad variety of background actors who resemble the cultures and ethnicities represented within the scriptural account, namely: Hebrew, Hasidic, Roman, Greek, Egyptian, and others of Middle Eastern/Southern European/North African origin. Generally, we seek individuals with darker hair and eye color, olive or brown skin tone, the ability to grow a beard (for men), and shaggy-to-longer hair in general. No contemporary styles, please.
AVAILABLE ROLES:
- Children/Teens - Male and Female, ages 8-18, medium or dark complexions; shaggy-to-longer hair preferred
- Roman Soldiers - Male, age 18+, any ethnicity
- Shepherds - Male and Female, ages 18-70, rough, nomadic, darker skin weathered by the desert sun
- Jerusalem Marketplace Patrons - Male and Female, ages 18-70, Hebrew, Hasidic, Middle Eastern looking
- Pharisees/Sadducees - Male, age 25+, Long beards required
SHOOT DATES: Weekdays, May 5-23, 2025
RATE: $120/10-hour Day

Rick and Cheryl Singers have applied. Wanting you to know that we are experienced actors. We performed for 15 years in a passion play and many other performances at many theatres in our area. We've had the leads in Fiddler on the Roof multiple times. We performed in a Christian theatre company that traveled to several states. I have directed the local cast in a Thorn production. Rick has done voice over work. I have portrayed Mother Mary, a possesed woman and many other characters. Rick has portrayed a Roman soldier, a pharisee, Pilate, and the voice of God and the voice of Satan. thank you for this opportunity.
